Special Weather Statement until 02:15AM Sunday

At 115 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lawrence, or 9 miles northeast of Indianapolis, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Lawrence, Cumberland, McCordsville, Pendleton, Fortville, Chesterfield, Ingalls, Meridian Hills, Warren Park, Shirley, Markleville, Wilkinson, Williams Creek, Castleton, Geist Reservoir, and Broad Ripple. This includes the following highways... Interstate 69 between mile markers 200 and 230. Interstate 70 between mile markers 86 and 101.
