* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southeastern Menard County in central Illinois... Southern Logan County in central Illinois... Northwestern Christian County in central Illinois... Sangamon County in central Illinois...

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 124 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Athens to near Springfield to near Auburn, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 122 PM, tree branches were broken on the west side of Springfield. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Springfield, Athens, Chatham, Sherman, Rochester, Riverton, Pawnee, Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, and Illinois State Fairgrounds around 130 PM CDT. Williamsville and Dawson around 135 PM CDT. Kincaid, Edinburg, Mechanicsburg, Buffalo, and Elkhart around 140 PM CDT. Those attending the Illinois State Fair are in the path of these storms and should prepare for IMMINENT DANGEROUS WEATHER CONDITIONS. SEEK SHELTER NOW! This includes the following highways... Interstate 55 between mile markers 79 and 115. Interstate 72 between mile markers 89 and 123.
