* At 124 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Athens to near Springfield to near Auburn, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 122 PM, tree branches were broken on the west side of Springfield. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Springfield, Athens, Chatham, Sherman, Rochester, Riverton, Pawnee, Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, and Illinois State Fairgrounds around 130 PM CDT. Williamsville and Dawson around 135 PM CDT. Kincaid, Edinburg, Mechanicsburg, Buffalo, and Elkhart around 140 PM CDT.
