Special Weather Statement until 02:30PM

At 156 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles southeast of Newkirk, or 29 miles southwest of Tucumcari, moving north at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of East Central Guadalupe and West Central Quay Counties.
