At 348 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles west of San Jon, or 13 miles east of Tucumcari, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Central Quay County. This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 337 and 353.
