UPDATE: HAWKIN ROAD CLOSURE
The Township is advising residents and the community that Hawkin Road, from the Fire House at 76 Hawkin Road west toward Carranza Road, is scheduled to be closed beginning Wednesday, August 19, 2026, for approximately 7–10 days, weather permitting.
Please Plan Ahead

• Hawkin Road will be closed to traffic during the construction/road work.  Please follow the detours when necessary.
• Please use an alternate route and allow additional travel time.
• Do not enter or drive around barricades or road-closure signs. This is for the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and workers.
• Residents who live within the affected area should follow any instructions provided by Township officials and/or road crews.
• The closure may be extended if weather or unforeseen conditions delay the work.
• The Township will provide updates regarding the progress of the work and will notify the community when the road is reopened.
