Wilmington Police have charged a man following a drug investigation.
 
On August 14 at approximately 11:58 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the 900 block of Kirkwood Street as part of a continuing investigation into violence and drug crimes in the area.
 
Police observed 28-year-old Andre Thomas engaged in drug transactions and made contact with him, recovering approximately .12 grams of heroin. He was taken into custody without incident, and after being transported to police headquarters he was found to be in possession of an additional .03 grams of heroin.
 
Thomas has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Two Counts
