* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Southwestern Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... West Central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... South Central Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Northern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 900 PM EDT.

* At 604 PM EDT, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Sutton, Gassaway, Holly River State Park, Flatwoods, Centralia, Diana, Hacker Valley, Frametown, Wilsie, Pickens, Rosedale, Helvetia and Shock. This includes the following highways... Route 19 near mile marker 68. Interstate 79 between mile markers 55 and 70.
