* At 645 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 miles northwest of Spruce Pine to near Burnsville to 8 miles north of Downtown Asheville to 11 miles northeast of Waynesville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
