Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Laroy Irving, 52, who is wanted for questioning about a robbery on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., the victim was throwing out trash from her apartment in the 200 block of Central Avenue. She was approached by the suspect, who took her cellphone. The suspect, described as 5’6” to 5’7,” was wearing a grey jacket, a white T-shirt, a white belt, light blue ripped jeans, and a blue-and-white bandana
Irving is described as having brown eyes and black hair.
