The contractor for the NCDOT Hwy. 5 Widening Project has advised that the water will be shut off from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19 to complete a new water main tie.
The area inside of the dotted red line on the map will be affected - this includes a portion of Hwy. 5 & US 1, Colonial Heights, Pinehurst St., Roseland Rd., & Keith St.
We anticipate completing the work and restoring water service sooner; however, we would like to allow the full five-hour window in case we encounter any unforeseen conflicts or field conditions.
