* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, and west central Indiana, including the following counties, in central Indiana, Boone, Clinton, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton. In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In north central Indiana, Carroll. In west central Indiana, Fountain, Montgomery, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion and Warren.

* WHEN...From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible this afternoon through tonight due to training thunderstorms along a slow moving front. Locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out. These rainfall amounts could quickly lead to flash flooding as soils remain saturated from recent rainfall. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
