Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a brandishing. When officers contacted the suspect, he discarded a firearm. The suspect was arrested without incident, and the firearm was recovered. ARRESTED: Miguel Jacinto, 24, for weapon charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (0450) 1600 Block of Turnpike Road, Seaport District
The female victim, 30, was in the listed area with the known suspect when they got into an argument. The suspect struck the victim and pointed a firearm at her. The suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers later located the suspect and arrested him without incident. The suspect was found to be in possession of a firearm and narcotics. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. ARRESTED: Rene Espiritu, 38, for assault with a deadly weapon, battery, weapon, and narcotics charges.
