VICTIM(S): 61-year-old Male Transient (Pending Next of Kin Notification)
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at about 6:09 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Sheriff’s Station responded to a medical aid call after a pedestrian found an unconscious adult male on the ground near a bus stop. Deputies arrived on scene and discovered a male victim with traumatic injuries. Deputies began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until emergency medical personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and the suspect remains at large.
