Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole an electric lawn mower that Amazon delivered to a residence on Friday, August 14, 2026.
The suspect, a Black male, was captured on surveillance video taking the lawn mower from the front porch of a home at approximately 12:19 p.m. in the 100 block of Isabella Avenue.
He was wearing glasses, a white tank top, dark green pants, white sneakers, and carrying a black backpack with teal blue trim.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
