INCIDENT: P.C. 25850(A) – Carrying a Loaded Firearm, P.C. 32310(A) – Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, P.C. 3455 – Probation Violation
LOCATION: 15000 block of Horizon Way, Adelanto
SUSPECT 1: Rodney Briggs, 18-year-old Resident of Adelanto
SUSPECT 2: Carnellius Mosley, 21-year-old Transient of Adelanto
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at approximately 4:53 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station’s Gang Impact Team (VCGIT) investigated the illegal possession of firearms by multiple gang members. The investigation led to the service of a search warrant at a residence in the 15000 block of Horizon Way in Adelanto.
With the assistance of deputies from the Adelanto Station and Sheriff’s Aviation, VCGIT safely served the search warrant and recovered a loaded Glock 21 handgun with a large capacity magazine attached.
Rodney Briggs was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 25850(A) – Carrying a Loaded Firearm, and P.C. 32310(A) – Possession of a Large Capacity. Carnellius Mosley was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 3455 – Probation Violation.
