This weekend is the Norco Mounted Posse PRCA Rodeo at the Ingalls Event Center. Activities include nightly rodeo events with traffic impacts on Crestview Drive, as well as a Cattle Drive that will require a temporary closure of Sixth Street.
Saturday, August 22 — Cattle Drive
The Norco Mounted Posse Cattle Drive is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at approximately 10 a.m. The event will feature approximately 15 steers traveling along Sixth Street from Valley View Avenue to California Avenue.
Sixth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Valley View Avenue and California Avenue from approximately 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Spectators are welcome to watch the Cattle Drive from the trail but are asked to remain off the roadway for their safety and to avoid interfering with the steers, riders, and event operations.
Please use alternate routes while Sixth Street is closed.
Rodeo Weekend — Crestview Drive Closure
In addition, Crestview Drive south of Sixth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic after 5 p.m. on Friday through Sunday during the Norco Mounted Posse Rodeo. Crestview Drive will reopen each night upon the conclusion of the rodeo and when event operations have been completed.
