The San Mateo Police Department is looking for experienced law enforcement professionals to join our team as part time Civilian Investigators.
This is a great opportunity for retired or former law enforcement professionals who want to stay connected to meaningful investigative work while bringing their knowledge and experience to our department.
Our Civilian Investigators assist with criminal investigations, search warrant preparation, case follow up, and other investigative responsibilities alongside our sworn personnel.
We’re looking for people who know the job, understand investigations, and still have something to contribute.
