LOCATION: Arrowhead Avenue/Baseline Street, San Bernardino, Ca
SUSPECT(S): Rudy Staana, a 47 year-old resident of Rialto.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at about 9:54 p.m., Deputy Yates and Deputy Lopez from the Central Station conducted a traffic stop in San Bernardino for California Vehicle Code violations. The driver, identified as Rudy Staana was contacted. During a search of the vehicle, a 9mm handgun, two 12 gauge shotguns, four AR-15 rifles, drug paraphenelia and a large amount of ammunition were located inside of the vehicle, and it was later confirmed Staana was a convicted felon.
Staana was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center for PC 29800(a)(1)- Felon in Possession of a Firearm and PC 30305(a)(1)- Felon in Possession of Ammunition.
