The male victim, 17, was walking in the listed area when the suspects approached him from behind. The suspects attempted to remove the victim’s property from his person, but the victim fought them off and fled on foot. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Two Black male juveniles.
2. Robbery Arrest (1920) 200 Block of East March Lane, Lakeview District
The male victim, 29, was working at a business in the listed area when he confronted the suspect for shoplifting merchandise. The suspect reached for a knife that was on his person, and a struggle ensued, but the victim was able to detain the suspect until officers arrived. ARRESTED: Julian Hooten, 28, for robbery.
3. Robbery (1936) 1500 Block of East Fremont Street, Park District
The female victim, 23, was working at a business in the listed area when the suspects entered. One of the suspects went behind the counter, shoved the victim, and stole property. All three suspects fled on foot. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Three Black male adults.
4. Person Shot (1949) 600 Block of Queensland Circle, Seaport District
The female victim, 13, was inside a residence in the listed area when an unknown person in another room discharged a firearm, which passed through the wall and struck the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. There is no suspect information.
5. Person Stabbed (2315) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Aurora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 35, was walking in the listed area when he saw the suspect throwing rocks. The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect drew a knife and cut the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
6. Robbery (0430) 300 Block of East Sonora Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 24, was seated in his vehicle in the listed area when the suspect opened his vehicle door, brandished a knife, and demanded his property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot. SUSPECT: An unknown race adult male.
