BUCKELEW AVENUE ROAD WORK & TRAFFIC DETOURS CONTINUE THROUGH AUGUST 31ST
The Middlesex County Division of Highways is continuing milling, paving, and roadway restriping operations on Buckelew Avenue between Hoffman Station Road and Spotswood Englishtown Road.
Road work will continue through Monday, August 31st, 2026, between approximately 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday only. No work is scheduled for weekends.
Motorists should be advised that paving operations are anticipated to take place later this week. As work progresses, traffic will be detoured around portions of the construction area, and temporary road closures and traffic pattern changes should be expected.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan alternate routes, allow additional travel time, and avoid the area whenever possible.
Those traveling in or around the construction area should follow all posted detour signs, use caution, reduce speed, and follow the directions of police officers and traffic control personnel.
The construction schedule remains subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We appreciate the continued patience and cooperation of our residents and motorists while these roadway improvements are completed.
