The Water Street Wall Mural painting will begin Monday, August 24 and take about a month to complete. During this time, the parking spaces along the northern retaining wall at the Market Street Parking Lot will be blocked off. The rest of the parking lot will remain open and the center row of parking spaces in the lot will be temporarily designated to allow All-Day (24 hour max) parking.
Through a national call for artists, muralist Yulia Avgustinovich was selected by the City of Oneonta Public Arts Commission to create a mural, "The Four Seasons of Oneonta," on the approximately 245’ x 14’ retaining wall supporting Water Street in the Market Street Parking Lot, viewable from Market Street.
