LOCATION: 14000 block Rodeo Drive, Victorville, CA 92392
SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old juvenile

SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 23, 2026, at approximately 2:08 a.m., deputies conducted a proactive vehicle check on a 2023 Kia in the 14000 block of Rodeo Drive. Upon contact, deputies observed several juveniles inside the vehicle.
During the investigation, deputies located a loaded firearm inside the vehicle. The firearm was identified as a Glock 21 featuring an illegally manufactured unserialized lower receiver ("ghost gun") and an extended magazine.
A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for violation of California Penal Code § 29180 (Possession of an Unserialized Firearm) and Penal Code § 32310 (Possession of a Large-Capacity Magazine). The juvenile was subsequently booked into the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center.
