The male victim, 23, was working at a business in the listed area when he confronted the suspect for shoplifting merchandise. The suspect picked up an object, struck the victim in the face, and fled the store with the merchandise. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. Officers located and arrested the suspect without incident. ARRESTED: Isabelle Grimm, 28, for robbery.
2. Person Shot (2234) West Lane and Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 21, was driving in the listed area when a vehicle pulled alongside him and fired gunshots at him. The victim was struck and mildly collided with an uninvolved motorist. The suspect vehicle fled. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The uninvolved motorist was uninjured. There is no suspect information.
