INCIDENT: P.C. 207 - Kidnapping
LOCATION: Emerson Street / Venus Avenue, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Two unidentified Black male adults
SUMMARY: On Sunday, August 23, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the area of Emerson Street and Venus Avenue regarding a vehicle fire.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was outside of their vehicle in the area of Stoddard Wells Road when they were approached by two unidentified Black male adults. One suspect brandished a firearm and ordered the victim to get into the victim’s vehicle and drive to a desert area. The suspects told the victim to run from the area and they set the victim’s 2015 Audi Q5 on fire.
The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available for release at this time.
