INCIDENT: PC496D(A)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: J Street and Hospitality Lane, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Ryan Baran, 44-year-old Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, August 24, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., deputies from the Coloroado River Station/Needles Police conducted a traffic enforcement stop near J Street and Hospitality Lane, in Needles, for observed traffic violations.
During the investigation, deputies contacted the driver, identified as Ryan Baran, and determined the vehicle had been unlawfully taken. Baran was found to be in violation of PC 496D(A) - Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
Baran was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Baran remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is on-going.
