On Tuesday, 8/25, the CSD will be pouring concrete at the entry gate as part of a generator installation project. Work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by noon.
During this time, traffic control will be in place to guide vehicles into and out of Bear Valley Springs. Please expect delays.
The new generator will help the CSD maintain gate operations during power outages, most notably through the addition of an automatic transfer switch. This means the generator will automatically turn on when power is interrupted, instead of requiring gate staff to manually start it.
Please drive slowly through the gate area and follow directions from flaggers and temporary traffic signs.
