Wilmington Police have arrested a man and a woman on drug charges following an investigation.
On August 24th at approximately 3:14 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division were in the 600 block of North West Street when they observed two subjects engaged in a drug related activity from their vehicle. Officers made contact with 29-year-old Anthony Wilson and 29-year-old Christine Patterson, who were taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a total of 2.6 grams of crack cocaine, .96 grams of heroin, 12.5 grams of marijuana and drug packaging material.
Wilson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver- Three Counts
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $32,200 cash-only bail.
Patterson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver- Three Counts
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
She was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $15,700 secured-bail.
