Public Safety Information
As we celebrate this special occasion, please follow all directions provided by Police Officers, Firefighters, EMS personnel, and event staff. Emergency services personnel will be stationed throughout Thompson Park to help ensure the safety of everyone attending.
If you are attending with young children or individuals with disabilities and functional needs (DAFN), we strongly recommend taking a current photograph before arriving, including a full-body image clearly showing the clothing they are wearing. This can greatly assist emergency personnel should you become separated.
A Family Reunification Post will be located at the DJ Booth. Parents and guardians should instruct children that, if they become separated from their group, they should immediately seek assistance from a Police Officer or event staff member.
For everyone’s safety, unauthorized fireworks are strictly prohibited.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding following the postponement of the original July 4th celebration and look forward to celebrating America’s 250th Independence Day together this Friday, August 28th.
We wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and memorable celebration!
