DPW is aware of what appears to be a main break at the manhole at both locations.
This is a gate valve - water control valve- that is leaking.

DPW will be on-site today - 8/26/26 for assessments + repairs.

Water interruption is NOT anticipated but possible based on repair needs.

Please take necessary precautions:
Please do not wash clothes, shower/bathe, drink or use the water until repairs are complete.

Once water has been restored you will need to flush the pipes until the water runs clear. Please run the water for a few minutes in the laundry tub to do so.

Please stay clear of the work area if possible - if travel is unavoidable take caution when driving in the area-there will be barricades, crew members, support vehicles and water over the roadways.

Please store water for bathroom use
