Activity for August 25, 2026:
- Officer Brooker was dispatched to East Michigan Avenue and Cooper Street for a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks. The 43-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated (high blood alcohol content/super drunk).
- Officers responded to the 400 block of West North Street for a vehicle that had just been stolen. A short pursuit ensued, but was terminated for safety concerns. The vehicle was later located unoccupied. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Stallworth was dispatched to the 400 block of South Blackstone Street for a private property accident. A 39-year-old female was arrested for driving while intoxicated and child endangerment.
- Officers responded to the Jackson Crossing Mall for subjects shoplifting. Retail fraud charges will be sought on a 15-year-old male, and two 14-year-old males.
- Officers were dispatched to Steward Avenue and Demay Court for shots fired. A spent shell casing was located in the area.
- Officer Tenney responded to the 900 block of Blair Park Drive to assist JCA with subjects under the influence of narcotics. A 24-year-old male was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations.
- Officer Tenney located a wanted subject in the 1300 block of West North Street. A 35-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants.
