1. Robbery (1854) 100 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The female victims, 23 and 38, were working at a business in the listed area when the suspect attempted to shoplift merchandise. One victim grabbed the suspect’s cart, but the suspect threatened her. The second victim confronted the suspect, who then punched her in the face. The suspect fled in a vehicle with the merchandise. One victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2246) 1800 Block of Del Rio Drive, Civic District
The female victim, 28, was in the listed area with the known suspect when they got into an argument. The suspect punched and kicked the victim, pulled her hair, and strangled her. The suspect retrieved a metal object from his vehicle and struck the victim with it. When the victim yelled for help, the suspect fled in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0200) Lafayette Street and Lincoln Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 23, was walking in the listed area when a vehicle pulled up beside him. The occupants yelled obscenities at the victim and fired multiple gunshots at him. The victim was not struck and fled the area on foot. SUSPECTS: Three Hispanic male adults.
