The Oakland Police Department (OPD) arrested 34-year-old Jose Jesus Rodriguez in connection with Monday's homicide of 58-year-old Gonsalo Lopez in the 1800 block of 38th Avenue. Officers took Rodriguez into custody that day.
The Alameda County District Attorney's Office is scheduled to charge Rodriguez with his involvement in the crime.
