SUSPECT: Nathaniel Jordan, 25-year-old, Resident of Apple Valley
VICTIM: 24-year-old female, Resident of Victorville
2-year-old male
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to a business near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Kiowa Road regarding a reported kidnapping.
Through the investigation, deputies learned that Nathaniel Jordan became involved in an argument with the mother of a 2-year-old child. During the incident Jordan took the child from a vehicle, assaulted the child’s mother and fled the location.
Deputies located Jordan a short time later at his residence. The 2-year-old child was safely recovered and returned to his mother unharmed. Jordan was known to the victims.
Jordan was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for PC 207(a) – Kidnapping, PC 273.5(a) – Injury to a Spouse/Cohabitant, PC 422(a) – Criminal Threats, and PC 273a(a) – Child Endangerment. Jordan is being held in lieu of $80,000 bail.
