LOCATION: 16000 block of Washoan Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT: Jaime Guzman Martinez, 60-year-old, Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, deputies from the Victorville Station conducted an investigation into the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon.
The investigation led to the service of a search warrant for a residence in the 16000 block of Washoan Road in Apple Valley. At approximately 7:01 p.m., deputies, with the assistance of the Victorville City Gang Impact Team (VCGIT), safely served the search warrant.
During the search, deputies recovered two firearms and several boxes of ammunition. The firearms included a black Walther P380 with an obliterated identification number, and a .44-caliber revolver.
Jaime Guzman Martinez was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, P.C. 29800(A)(1) – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and P.C. 30305(A)(1) – Felon in Possession of Ammunition, P. C. 23900 – Alter, Deface, or Change a Firearms Identification Number.
