LOCATION: Yucca Terrace Drive & Valle Vista Road, Phelan
SUSPECT: Reggie Wharry, 41-years-old resident of Phelan
VICTIM: Confidential, adult male
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 7:55 a.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the intersection of Yucca Terrace Drive and Valle Vista Road in Phelan following a report of an assault.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim who had been stabbed multiple times in the face and chest area. The suspect had fled the area before deputies arrived. The victim was flown to a hospital for his injuries.
During the investigation, deputies positively identified the suspect as Reggie Wharry.
On August 26, 2026, investigators located Wharry in Phelan where he was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for attempted murder.
