* Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 645 PM MST.
* At 355 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.6 and 1.1 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, South Tucson and Tucson International Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 19 between mile markers 60 and 63. Route 86 near mile marker 171. Interstate 10 between mile markers 259 and 267. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Drexel Rd east of Alvernon Way.
