The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Department of General Services (DGS) would like to inform the community that the basketball courts at Bald Eagle Recreation Center (100 Joliet Street, SW) will close to the public on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with construction estimated to be completed in approximately 3–4 months. The project includes resurfacing both basketball courts and improving playability and safety for visitors.
