Wilmington Police have arrested a wanted man in connection to a burglary incident.
On August 28th at approximately 12:06 p.m., a member of the Special Operations Division responded to the 100 block of Burton Place in reference to a theft complaint. Officers conducted an area canvas and located a subject matching the description of the suspect in the 300 block of West 7th Street. Officers made contact with 35-year-old Jalio Jennings, who was taken into custody without incident. Officers confirmed Jennings was currently wanted for outstanding warrants out of the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and the Justice of the Peace Court.
Jennings has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrants:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Theft Under $1,500
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
