 Norfolk Southern and the North Carolina Railroad Company are continuing rail replacement work throughout Alamance County. Temporary railroad crossing closures will occur as work progresses from east to west.

Motorists should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when crossings are closed. Detour signs will direct traffic around affected crossings.

Please use caution in construction areas and do not drive around barricades or attempt to cross a closed railroad crossing.
