The Oakland Police Department (OPD) is asking for the community's help following Sunday's officer-involved shooting near 22nd Avenue and East 28th Street (Manzanita Park).
OPD has arrested 44-year-old Aleem Spencer in connection with the incident. Spencer fired multiple shots at officers who were responding to 911 calls reporting a man threatening to harm a female victim. The man was identified as Spencer.
Spencer also set items on fire and threw them at officers before setting a home ablaze.
