Activity for August 31, 2026:
- Sergeant Burkart and Officer Delgado responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 54-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Griswold Street for a vehicle that had just been stolen. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Vernier responded to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of West Ganson Street. A 43-year-old female was arrested for domestic strangulation.
- Officer Kruso was dispatched to the 1400 block of North Wisner Street for a subject shoplifting. A 62-year-old male was arrested for retail fraud and conditional bond violation.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of West Michigan Avenue for a subject being assaulted. A 25-year-old male was arrested for domestic strangulation.
- Officers were dispatched to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Wilkins Street for a threats report. A 60-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Officer Allison assisted JFD with an arson investigation in the 300 block of West Morrell Street. A vehicle that had been reported stolen on August 30th was located completely engulfed. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Allison visited with students at the JPS Montessori Center.
- Officer Frazier responded to Warwick Court for a domestic dispute. A 23-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Kruso was dispatched to a domestic situation in the 100 block of Bates Street. A 38-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault and conditional bond violation.
- Officer Frazier responded to the hospital for a domestic assault report. A 36-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
