School is back in session tomorrow. The North Castle Police Department would like to remind drivers to slow down and be extra cautious as we start this new school year, especially during arrival and dismissal times.
🚸Be mindful of children and parents congregating at bus stops and waiting to cross the road.
🛑When a school bus’s red lights are flashing and/or its stop signs are activated, ALL LANES OF TRAVEL MUST STOP and allow students to safely enter and exit.
📵Stress the importance of these tips to the inexperienced drivers operating your vehicles and remind them to avoid distractions and to not use electronic devices while driving.
⏰Give yourselves a little extra time when leaving the house in the morning as we all get used to the extra traffic on the roads.
