* At 1001 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Larchwood to Hull to near Maurice, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Public. At 950 PM CDT, an 81 mph wind gust was reported 9 miles north-northeast of Hawarden. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Orange City, Hull, Alton, Larchwood, Boyden, Doon, Lester, and Alvord around 1005 PM CDT. Rock Rapids, George, Hospers, Hills, and Matlock around 1010 PM CDT. Sheldon around 1015 PM CDT. Luverne, Ellsworth, Little Rock, and Ashton around 1020 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of these severe thunderstorms include Sibley, Archer, Sanborn, Adrian, Blue Mounds State Park, Rushmore and Melvin.
