On September 3, 2026 around 1:30 a.m., a Simi Valley resident reported to the Simi Valley Police Department that his 2020 Chevy Silverado had just been stolen from the 2000 block of Daunet Avenue.
SVPD Officers quickly located the vehicle as it was traveling northbound Tapo Canyon Road near the 118 Freeway. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Alexa Aguilar (a 22-year-old Los Angeles resident), for 10851(a) VC – Theft of a Vehicle.
Agular was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
