As we kick off the school year, Chief Dennis Rivelli would like to remind everyone to be extra careful this week traveling the Borough. With the first days of school upon us, please expect increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic. We urge everyone to BE PATIENT.
As a reminder, vehicles are lawfully required to stop while a school bus is in the roadway picking up/discharging children.
Please stop for pedestrians in the crosswalks and follow the directions of our Crossing Guards.
DO NOT park on yellow curbs, double park, block fire hydrants or park obstructing crosswalks when dropping off or picking up your children, especially in the area of McKenzie School.
Our Patrol and Traffic Divisions be out ensuring all applicable laws and ordinances are followed and ensuring safe travels for all motorists.
