Wilmington Police have arrested two men on drug charges following an investigation.

Members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into 25-year-old Zaiair Jenkins-Johnson and 32-year-old Corey Brittingham in reference to illegal drug sales in the 100 block of North Franklin Street.

On September 1^st at approximately 12:07 p.m., officers made contact with Jenkins-Johnson and Brittingham in the 100 block of North Franklin Street, where they were taken into custody without incident. Subsequently, officers executed a search warrant in the 100 block of North Franklin Street. Officers recovered 45.3 grams of crack cocaine, ammunition, a ballistic vest and $2,824.00 in U.S. currency.

Jenkins-Johnson has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver- Tier 3
• Possession of a Controlled Substance- Tier 3
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.

Brittingham has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver- Tier 3
• Possession of a Controlled Substance- Tier 3

He was arraigned in the New Castel County Court of Common Pleas and released after posting a $60,000 secured-bail.
