The City of Rosemead, in partnership with VOCO Media, invites the community to celebrate the 10th Annual Moon Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 2:30 to 11:00 p.m. The free community festival will take place along Valley Boulevard between Walnut Grove Avenue and Ivar Avenue.
The Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a cherished Chinese tradition that celebrates family, togetherness, peace, and prosperity. Attendees can look forward to an exciting afternoon and evening featuring cultural performances, delicious food, merchandise vendors, family-friendly activities, and entertainment for all ages. Community members will also have the opportunity to receive vision screenings during the festival. Admission to the festival is free and open to residents and visitors.
Traffic Closures
Street closures will begin on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. to allow for event setup and will remain in effect until Sunday, September 13, 2026, at 4:00 a.m. to allow for event breakdown and cleanup.
- Valley Boulevard, from Walnut Grove Avenue to Rosemead Boulevard
- Muscatel Avenue, from Steele Street to Valley Boulevard
