McDowell County Drug Enforcement, with assistance from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, executed a narcotics search warrant early Thursday morning, Sept. 3, in the Montford Cove community.
As a result, law enforcement agents confiscated 49.5 grams of Methamphetamine and charged Crystal Dawn Rhymer, 45, of Marion, with felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine.
“A great job by our Drug Enforcement and SWAT teams” said Sheriff Nathan Mace. “These men and women work tirelessly to keep our area safe, and this is just another example of their hard work, bravery and determination. We will continue our efforts of going after those who traffic drugs in our communities.”
Rhymer received a secured bond of $115,000.
