Vandalism Suspect Arrested After Using Hand Tool to Damage Vehicle
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at about 1:06 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC 594(B)(1) - Felony Vandalism over $400
LOCATION: 7000 Block of Shaniko Trail., Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Kyle Skersick, 34-year-old Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at about 1:06 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reporting a vandalism near the 7000 block of Shaniko Trail, in the community of Big River.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted 34-year-old Kyle Skersick and conducted an investigation. During the investigation, deputies determined Skersick damaged the victim's vehicle using a hand tool.
Skersick was arrested for vandalism and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Skersick remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
