CAD CALLS: 838
1. Resisting Arrest (1605) Wilson Way and Channel Street, Park District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. The suspect fled from the vehicle, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Robinpreet Singh, 27, for resisting arrest.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1800) 2300 Block of Grand Canal Boulevard, Lakeview District
The male victim, 28, was driving in a parking lot in the listed area when the suspect pulled out of a parking stall. As the victim attempted to pull into the stall, the suspect blocked him and allowed another driver to take it. The victim exited his vehicle, and the suspect reversed, struck the victim, and fled. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: White male adult.
3. Resisting Arrest (2004) 700 Block of North California Street, Civic District
Officers were in the process of making an arrest in the listed area when the suspect approached and attempted to prevent officers from arresting the subject. The suspect also resisted officers' attempts to take him into custody, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Terry Corbett, 55, for resisting arrest.
4. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2211) 00 Block of West Harding Way, Civic District
The male victim, 40, was at a business in the listed area with the known suspect when they got into an argument. The suspect struck the victim with an object before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained a non-life-threatening injury and declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
5. Shooting into a Vehicle (2335) Main Street and Rendon Avenue, Park District
Officers responded to a report of a possible person shot. They located three unoccupied vehicles that had been struck by gunfire. One person in the area received a non-life-threatening injury while ducking for cover and was treated at an area hospital. There is no suspect information.
6. Shooting into a Dwelling (0203) 1300 Block of Wrangler Circle, Valley Oak District
The female victims, 60, 24, 20, and 16, and the male victim, 22, were at a residence in the listed area when it was struck by gunfire. Four vehicles in the area were also struck by gunfire. No injuries were reported. There is no suspect information.
